Hi Huskies!
My name is Anthea Liu, and I’m super excited to be here with you as your campus life ambassador as you start your exciting journey at Northeastern Vancouver.
I’m currently in the CPS – Analytics program. I came to Vancouver in the fall of 2023, which is also when I started my studies at Northeastern. I really like this city and deeply appreciate the supportive community we have here on campus. This is why I decided to become a campus ambassador—to make you feel as welcome as I did when I was a newcomer.
In addition to my academic journey, I was a Public Relations practitioner in Taiwan for 5 years. I love outdoor activities (of which we can find a bunch here!), traveling, learning new languages (but rarely committing to any, lol), and discovering cute and authentic cafes. I am also passionate about learning new cultures and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. As someone who is transitioning to STEM from a non-tech background, I understand how valuable everyone’s unique experiences and life journeys are, and I can’t wait to hear about yours.

Hi everyone, I’m Rayyan Sami Mohammad. I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and am currently pursuing a master’s in Data Analytics Engineering at COE, Vancouver.
I began my journey at Northeastern in September 2023, and it has been wonderful ever since. I love attending events, whether it’s hiking trips or talk sessions hosted by industry experts.
When I first arrived in the city and at the university, the Campus Life Ambassadors assisted me in every way possible.
Now as an ambassador myself, I love meeting new people, hanging out, and helping in any way I can. As an international student, I understand how challenging things can get sometimes, and I’m here to provide help and guidance.

Before joining Northeastern, I worked at UBS AG, where I sharpened my marketing and event planning skills. So, I hope to organize some epic events to bring us all together and make sure you feel right at home in our Northeastern family.
When I’m not busy, you’ll find me soaking up the sun at the beach, diving into community events, or hunting down the best eats in town (#FoodieAlert)! And, of course, I love winding down with a good book.
