Part of the #NUexperience includes building an understanding of the diverse community within the Northeastern network, in our regional communities and around the world. Our cultural engagement programs provide students the opportunity to explore diversity, equity and inclusion through cultural interactions and global perspectives with the aim of becoming a more complete world citizens.

We acknowledge that not one week or one month can fully encompass an entire culture, experience or history of people. All year long, we aim to embed diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of the student experience. In doing so it is our goal to amplify the experiences of the many communities that represent our our students, local communities and global experiences, respectively each cultural heritage week or month as well as throughout the year.
